My son, Nick, began showing an interest in playing guitar way back before his sister left home. He'd been fiddling around, off and on, not really seeming to be very serious about it.
This past year, though, he's had enough of an interest to have us re-string his guitar and to go hanging-out in SAM ASH with his buds, playing their demo instruments (mostly drums, which he also loves).
I got him a subscription to Guitar Player magazine, to help him out even more.
Today, he comes to me and plays "It's Never Too Late" by 3 Days Grace....and he played it so well that I asked him to do it again so that I could video it for posterity.
Maybe, someday, that video will be part of his 'how did I get so fucking famous' interview with Rolling Stone or something.
